Eric Huang

Eric advises individuals and families on domestic and international estate and tax planning matters, helping clients achieve their unique and specific goals through the development and implementation of personally-tailored plans and strategies.  Clients have also relied on Eric’s estate and trust administration skills after the passing of a loved one.

Prior to joining Kozusko Harris Duncan, Eric was an Associate in the Chicago office of a national firm where his practice focused on estate planning, and trust and estate administration. Eric also has experience advising tax-exempt organizations, such as charitable trusts, operating and non-operating private foundations and charities, with matters such as entity formation, registration, governance and tax compliance.

Eric received his J.D. cum laude, from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2017 and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.S. in Foreign Service, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in 2012. While in law school, Eric was a legal extern at the Internal Revenue Service’s Office of Chief Counsel in Chicago, and a legal intern at the National Football League’s office in New York. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Florida. Eric also speaks Cantonese and Japanese, and is a regular volunteer attorney and interpreter at the Chinatown Pro Bono Legal Clinic in Chicago.
