Rich’s practice focuses on tax, estate, and financial planning for both U.S. and non-U.S. based high-net worth individuals and families, with a particular emphasis on international tax and trust planning. He counsels clients on family office issues, as well as on tax and business succession planning for closely-held businesses and investment entities. Rich also advises on inbound and outbound business and tax planning and structuring.

Rich worked as a U.S. lawyer in London, England for three years and has extensive experience advising on US-UK integrated tax and estate planning for both individuals and fiduciaries. He is a regular advisor to financial institutions and other intermediaries that serve as fiduciaries of trusts with U.S. and non-U.S. beneficiaries, advising on the U.S. tax and information reporting requirements, potential planning opportunities and the pitfalls to be avoided.

Prior to joining Kozusko Harris Duncan in July of 2009, Rich was a Partner at Withers Bergman LLP. He is licensed to practice in Connecticut and New York.
