The Private Trust Company Comes Back On Shore – in the United States

Confusingly, the term ‘private trust company’ is applied to two types of trust companies: commercial firms that serve the wealthy, ‘private’ clientele also served by ‘private’ banks; and truly private firms that are owned by and serve only a single wealthy family.
